I am Dr. Karen Joy Luce What is my EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE?? My PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) is in Biblical Counseling. I have a Master’s Degree (MA) in Psychology: specializing in Christian counseling and family systems. My Bachelor’s Degree (BA) is in Home Economics, a field of study now referred to as Human or Home Ecology: with specialization in early childhood development and family relations. I have nearly 40 years experience teaching and counseling in churches, private and public schools, and speaking at retreats and seminars. I have joyfully served as an adjunct professor at Christian Colleges and Universities.

SPIRITUAL: I have had a deep love for God, the Father, since my early childhood and was immersed in baptism at the age seven. The Word has been very important to me throughout my life, so incorporating Scripture into my ministry has been really natural. PERSONAL: I have been married to Bill nearly 40 years, have four adult children who live in Oregon, California, and Tennessee, along with 5 grandchildren. My hobbies include kayaking, walking, reading mysteries (especially those set in the Midwest) FAVORITE THINGS: Trees, water, and friends!
